Dharma Crystal Singing Bowl was designed and with colours created to stand behind the Sanskrit root word, “dhri”, translated to mean, “to hold,” “to maintain,” or “to preserve.” In the early Vedas, Dharma, is recognised as the cosmic law that governs peace and order of our universe and human-kind. This included the concepts of duty, rights, religion and morally appropriate behaviour, and so dharma came to be understood as a means to preserve and maintain righteousness.
All beings are born and exist for a unique purpose. We accept every soul for who they are, what energies and feelings they bring to the Universe. All beings must accept their dharma for order and harmony and balance to exist in the world. If an individual is following their dharma, being true to who they are, they are pursuing their truest calling and serving all other beings in the universe by playing their true role.
To Hindus, all entities have their own dharma: even the sun must shine and the bees must make honey. In Buddhism, dharma additionally means acting in accordance with the teachings of the Buddha and the Four Noble Truths.
The result of living in this “right way” is believed to be self-realization and enlightenment. Above all, when your life is aligned with your dharma, it brings a sense of joy and fulfilment.
Our crystal singing bowls and all sound bath instruments are handmade by artisans and delicately fine-tuned by our musicians who themselves are recognised yogis and experienced sound meditation practitioners. We source and work with different natural form and shapes of crystals, rare gemstones, and precious metals ethically from different parts of the world where spiritual energy abounds.
Minerals and metals, unearthed from Mother Nature, are used to create your singing instruments, they are uniquely gifted with their own amazing qualities and characteristics. At the heart of our team’s production philosophy and belief, is the acceptance of the different natural reaction and changes of crystals, gemstones and metals may take and form when they are processed in our 4000C hot temperature kiln. We try not to contain or interfere with their natural characteristics and energy during our production, believing fully that nature is the purest portal to our soul, mind, heart and body.
