Three Crescent Moons
Trinity of Moons takes its name from the three crescent moons that adorn this mallet — one on each side, one at the center. In lunar tradition, three crescents represent the maiden, mother, and crone — the full arc of feminine wisdom through beginning, blooming, and release. They also mirror the moon's three faces: waxing (intention), waning (surrender), and the dark moon (deep rest). Unlike full circles, crescents remain open — like a mouth before a prayer, like a door before a dream, like the instant before a crystal sings. These three moons are the soul of this mallet, and they guide every strike.
The Key Stone of the Moon
Crowning the mallet is a diamond-shaped moonstone, handpicked for three things: a soft milky body like frozen fog, a milky surface kissed by centuries of moons, and a gorgeous blue flash that appears only when light meets stone at the perfect angle. Spiritually, moonstone is the stone of the moon herself — keeper of tides, dreams, and inner rhythms. The blue flash represents sudden intuition, the unexpected message, the clarity that arrives not from thinking but from stillness. Ancient traditions say a moonstone with blue flash opens the throat chakra and third eye at once, allowing you to speak what you see and see what you feel. The striking end is wrapped in soft suede, producing a warm, rounded tone ideal for most crystal singing bowls, as well as sound baths, reiki, moon circles, and meditation. Strike three times during the new moon to plant intentions, or during the full moon to release what no longer serves — each strike honors one of the three moons. As you strike, watch for the blue flash. It appears in some light and hides in others — just like the moon herself, always present even when not fully seen.
